Since we have already gone over how to choose the best camera for you, it is only fitting that we talk about lenses. Lenses can be just as, is not more, confusing than cameras in my opinion. Personally, i have struggled with understanding lenses in the past and still find myself learning more about them. With so many different markings, numbers and purposes, it can be tricky to differentiate lenses from each other and from the skill level required to utilize them to get a proper shot. I personally still only own about 3 different lenses. This is not because I do not wish I had more, but pretty much is just because equipment, especially a lens, is expensive.
It is important to have 3 key ideas in mind when searching for the best lens to use: What are you shooting? Where are you shooting? and What is your budget? These questions will help guide you when trying to find what works best for you.

Keep in mind as you are watching that all lenses are offered by multiple brands, and this will effect their price-point. There are always cheaper options in every scenario if you are just starting out.
